class Author Guidelines

The scientific journal Journal of Islamic Art and Architecture (JIAA) covers a wide range of research and criticism issues in Islamic architecture studies. It publishes articles on textual and fieldwork studies with a variety of viewpoints on Islamic architecture, including architectural design, mosque architecture, art and culture, architectural history, architectural theory, and criticism, among many other topics in architecture based on Islamic values.

Every work that is submitted to the journal must be written well. It is recommended that authors who do not speak English as their first language have their paper proofread for grammar and clarity before submission. The text that will be printed in the Journal of Islamic Art and Architecture (JIAA) is in English. All submissions must be original, unpublished works that are not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. Except in unusual instances, essays should be no more than 6,000 words long and no less than 3,000 words long. Text should be submitted as an email attachment in the original figures and tables in the MS Word format. Additionally, text can be entered into our online journal system.
