Journal Description


Walisongo Law Review (Walrev) is a scientific journal published in April and October each year by Law Studies Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo, Semarang in collaboration with Asosisasi Pengelola Program Studi Ilmu Hukum Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (APPSIH-PTKIN) and member of Asosiasi Pengelola Jurnal Hukum Indonesia (APJHI).

Articles published in this journal are the results of empirical research in comparative law (such as civil law, criminal law, constitutional law, state administrative law, economic law, Islamic law, and others), legal pluralism (such as state law, moral and ethic religion law) and socio-legal or living law.

This journal has specifications as a medium of publication and communication of legal science ideas derived from theoretical and analytical studies, as well as research results in legal science. The editor hopes writers, researchers, and legal experts will contribute to this journal. This journal has become a CrossRef Member; therefore, all articles published by Walrev will have a unique DOI number. 

Walisongo Law Review, first published in 2019, has been cited by Scopus-Indexed Journal as many as 35 times from 18 documents (retrieved Okt 7, 2024). Based on the decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Number 177/E/KPT/2024 dated 15 October 2024, Walisongo Law Review is accredited at rank 3 (Sinta 3) starting Vol 5 Number 2 2023.
