Journal History
2021
Daluang which has an equivalent meaning with paper becomes the name of this journal due to the significant role of paper that still exists today. Paper historically has become an enlightening hope as a medium that facilitates recording and documentation, substituting parchment, tanned animal skins, as well as other media such as bamboo and papyrus which later have their derivation with paper. Paper technology reached its momentum with the invention of the paper machine by Johannes Gutenberg. Since then, it has been dominantly used to spread information and sciences. As an effort to become a medium between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge, the journal Daluang (started publishing in 2021) is intended to make a major contribution in sustaining scientific communication in librarianship.
