Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to Daluang: Journal of Library and Information Science are screened using Turnitin, with a maximum similarity index of 25%. A similarity score within this limit does not automatically guarantee that a manuscript is free from plagiarism.

Plagiarism includes the following forms:

  1. Verbatim plagiarism: Using another author's words without proper quotation or citation.

  2. Plagiarism of ideas: Using others' ideas without appropriate acknowledgment.

  3. Authorship plagiarism: Presenting another person's work as one's own.

  4. Self-plagiarism: Reusing previously published work without proper disclosure or sufficient original contribution. Manuscripts must provide substantial new content and must not duplicate previously published articles.

The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that violate its plagiarism policy.
