1. Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research was established in October 2019, with ISSN Number: 2714-8122 (print media) and 2715-0429 (online media).
2. The journal is published twice a year. The first journal is published in printed and online edition in October 2019.
3. In 2019 until now, all articles were published in English.
4. In 2020, Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research become a member DOAJ.
5. 2019 until now each published consists of 7 articles.
6. In 2021 Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research accredited SINTA 2 by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia, Decree No. 164/E/KPT/2021.
7. Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research  is currently indexed in several journal indexers: Science and Technology Index (Sinta 2), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Open Science Directory-EBSCO, Crossref, Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, Dimensions, Moraref, etc.
8. Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research was awarded Publication Grant by the Funding Program for Research-Based Journal Accreditation in 2022 from The Directorate of Islamic Higher Education, Directorate General of Islamic Education, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
9. In its effort to enhance the quality of the publication, JIAFR has established cooperation and alliance with various partners. In 2020 Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research collaborates with the ADAI and IAPI.
10. In its effort to enhance the quality of the publication, to improve quality, Journal of Islamic Accounting and Finance Research conducts training every year with resource persons from Indonesian journal volunteers and managers from various Scopus indexed journals as well as experts in the field of sharia accounting.
