    Psikohumaniora: Jurnal Penelitian Psikologi (en: Psikohumaniora: Journal of Psychological Research) is a research-based psychological journal published by the Faculty of Psychology and Health, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang, Indonesia. Psikohumaniora is dedicated to developing clinical and positive psychology studies by diffusing research backed by solid empirical evidence. It is hoped that it will provide a reference and guidance to enhance people's psychological potential, and improve their mental health, and offer adaptive strategies for preventing and reducing the risks of psychological problems. In the long run, the journal is expected to impact individuals and the community positively.

  • Al-Ahkam

    Al-Ahkam is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo in collaboration with the Indonesian Consortium of Sharia Scholars (KSSI). Al-Ahkam was first published in 1991 in printed version and available online since 2012.

    Al-Ahkam focuses on Islamic Law, and Islamic Legal Studies, that studied from various perspectives i.e. philosophy, history, sociology, anthropology, psychology, and economics. This Journal provides readers with a better understanding of that focuses covering both literary and fieldwork studies through the publication of original research articles.

    Walisongo: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial Keagamaan (English: Walisongo: Journal of Socio-religious Research) is a scientific journal that focuses on socio-religious studies (i.e., Islamic traditions, local wisdom, and inter-religious studies).

    Nadwa: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (translated in English Nadwa: Islamic Education Journal) (P-ISSN 1979-1739 and E-ISSN 2502-8057) is an international journal published by Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo, Indonesia. The journal pursues the academic exploration on Indonesian Islamic education discourses such as schools, colleges, universities, and other Islamic educational institutions such as pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) in Islamic education discourses. The journal promotes empirical research and theory relevant to Islamic-affiliated educational institutions. The topics of the journal cover the micro, meso, and macro levels of Islamic education such as the philosophy, Islamic school leadership, learning strategy, curriculum, learning evaluation, inclusive education, education based on culture, and the politics of Islamic education.

    Nadwa is an open-access journal which means users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the author or the publisher. It means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution.

    Nadwa published twice a year always places Islamic Education in the central focus of academic inquiry and invites any discussions as the aim and scopes.

    Sawwa: Jurnal Studi Gender (if translated into English as Sawwa: Journal of Gender Studies) is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on gender and child issues. It aims to disseminate relevant knowledge and to provide a framework for social transformation in gender equality and child protection.     Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah is a journal that discusses discourse of da'wah science, published by the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication Walisongo State Islamic University, Semarang, Indonesia.

    JID is focusing on issues of da’wah problems in Indonesia. JID intended to communicate the results of theoretical study and the results of research on da’wah. The themes in the journal include the study of texts,  field studies with various perspectives both from the standpoint of communication and broadcasting Islam, Islam counseling, da’wah management and development of Islam community.

    JID published twice a year, putting the da’wah of Islam and matters relating to da’wah. The main focus is to distribute the curiosity of academic, invite experts to look da’wah comprehensively  from the perspective of communication and broadcasting of Islam, counseling Islam, da’wa management and the development of Islam community. Seeing the Islamic da’wah activities as has been practiced in reality life. JID positioning itself as a forum for reviewing the da’wah activities and things which associated with da’wah in Indonesia.

  • Walisongo Journal of Chemistry

    Walisongo Journal of Chemistry is a journal that implement the peer review process. All articles submitted to this journal will be reviewed in a closed (double blind review) by a minimum of two reviewers (associate editor). The response from the reviewer will be the consideration for the editor (editorial board) to determine whether an article can be published (accepted), published if revised or discarded (rejected). The returned articles must be upgraded by the authors. After the authors make improvements in accordance with feedback from reviewer, the author should resend (re-submit) and will be reviewed again.     Islamic Communication Journal is published twice a year, June and December, by the Department of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Faculty of Da’wa and Communication, UIN Walisongo Semarang. Since June 27, 2019, Islamic Communication Journal collaborated with professional institutions, namely the Indonesian Da’wa Profession Association (Asosiasi Profesi Dakwah Indonesia/APDI) and the Association of Da’wa Science Journal Managers (Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah/PPJID). In its development, in March 2021 the Islamic Communication Journal collaborated with ASKOPIS (Association of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Programs) in order to improve the quality of the journal.
     
    Islamic Communication Journal has been accredited as a scientific journal by The Ministry of Education and Culture, the Republic of Indonesia, on the 2nd level (SINTA 2) based on the Decree of Mendikbud No. 152/E/KPT/2023, valid until Vol. 12 No. 1 (2027). This journal has been indexed in several databases such as Dimensions, Google Scholar, Crossreff, GARUDA, Open AIRE, ROAD, BASE. etc.

    There are several important changes in this journal, as follows:

    1. Since Vol. 7 No. 1 (2022), Islamic Communication Journal began to involve reviewers from across countries.
    2. In Vol. 7 Number 1 (2022) also Islamic Communication Journal began to change the article template from two columns to one column.
    3. Then, for Vol. 7 No 2 (2022), Islamic Communication Journal again reworked the article template by removing the "literature review" section (then adding it to the introduction section) according to the assessor's notes at the time of accreditation in 2020.

    Nutri-Sains: Jurnal Gizi, Pangan dan Aplikasinya is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal published biannually by Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Psychology and Health Sciences, Islamic State University of Walisongo, Semarang. Its scope encompasses original scientific research and case studies in the field of clinical nutritions and dietetics, food services, community nutrition, functional food, nutritional biochemistry, halal aspect of food, regulation and information of food and nutrition.

    This journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

    Phenomenon: Jurnal Pendidikan MIPA (en: Phenomenon: Journal of Science and Mathematics Education) is a research-based science dan mathematic education journal published by Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo, Semarang, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to developing studies of science and mathematics education by diffusing research backed by solid empirical evidence. It is hoped that it will provide a reference and guidance to enhance people's pedagogical potential in science and mathematics education, as well as offering adaptive strategies for preventing and reducing the risks of pedagogical problems. In the long run, the journal is expected to have a positive impact on individuals and the community.

    The journal has been indexed on reputable indexing databases such as DOAJ, Copernicus, Moraref, Google Scholar, etc. This journal was first published in 2011 and has been accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia and earned the Third Grade (SINTA 2) in 2024 based on Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024, valid until 2027.

    Al-Hayat: Journal of Biology and Applied Biology, first published in August 2018, is a journal that focuses on various subjects on biological sciences. It is intended to communicate original research in current issues on the subject. The subjects cover biology field studies and literature with various perspectives, both interdisciplinary and multidiscipline, as follows: Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Ethnobiology, and other Biological Sciences.

    Al-Hayat is published by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang Indonesia, in collaboration with Konsorsium Biologi Indonesia (KOBI). This journal is managed to be issued twice in a year. We warmly welcome contributions from fellow scholars and researchers of multiple disciplines.

    Based on the assessor's comments on the previous accreditation we made several improvements including:

    3. Starting from volume 4 number 1 2021 we made changes to the full-text layout design (template).

    Journal of Early Childhood and Character Education is an article journal and discourses around the subject of early childhood and character education. It is published by the Education and Teacher Training Faculty, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo Semarang. Intended to communicate original researches and current issues on the subject.     Alsina : Journal of Arabic Studies is a research-based language learning journal published by the Arabic Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang, in collaboration with the Arabic Teachers Association of Indonesia (IMLA). This journal is dedicated to publishing original research articles (ORA) on the teaching and learning of Arabic as a first, second, or foreign language, with a focus on studies that bridge the gap between theory and practice. The journal's primary focus is on Arabic language learning, covering areas such as language acquisition, instructional methods, pedagogical innovations, and the development of language skills. It also welcomes submissions that explore related fields, focusing specifically on Arabic language acquisition, language teaching strategies, translation studies, linguistics, literature, and the influence of gender and identity in Arabic language education. Alsina aims to be a platform for scholars from related disciplines to contribute their research and share insights that advance the field of language learning. In the long term, the journal aspires to make a meaningful impact on both the academic community and society at large by fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Arabic language education.

    Daluang: Journal of Library and Information Science is published by UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo with p-issn 2797-3131 and e-issn 2797-3182. This journal publishes articles focusing on problems and issues concerning to library and information science. This journal provides opportunities for authors to present the results of original research articles, review articles, and best practice in Digital Library and Repositories, Documentation System, Information and Media Preservation, Information Policy, Information Services, Library and information technology, Library Management, Media and Information Literacy, Organization of Information, Scholarly Communication, Scientometrics.

    This journal will be published in January-June and July-December (twice a year). Articles received will be double-blind review. Decision on manuscript accepted or not is decided by the Editor in Chief based on the comments of reviewers in the forum session of the Board of Editors.
