FOCUS
Journal of Religion and Diversity is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the critical and interdisciplinary study of religion in contexts of diversity. The journal publishes original research that examines how religious differences are lived, negotiated, represented, institutionalized, contested, and transformed across historical and contemporary societies. It welcomes theoretical, empirical, comparative, and methodological contributions that explore the intersections of religion with pluralism, identity, culture, politics, migration, gender, race, media, and public life.
The journal is particularly interested in scholarship on religious diversity and pluralism; interreligious relations and coexistence; minority and marginalized religious communities; lived religion in diverse societies; religion and migration, diaspora, and transnational networks; religion, gender, race, ethnicity, and class; religion in public space, law, and policy; religion, media, and digital cultures; religion, conflict, peacebuilding, and social cohesion; and decolonial, postcolonial, and Global South perspectives on religion and diversity.
