Aims and Scope
Theologia is an international peer-reviewed journal specializing in comparative theology and scriptural hermeneutics. The journal publishes original research on theological thought, doctrinal reasoning, sacred text interpretation, and interreligious intellectual encounter across religious traditions. It particularly welcomes studies in comparative theology, Qur'anic and biblical hermeneutics, scriptural reasoning, theology of religions, interreligious theology, and critical discussions of revelation, authority, salvation, ethics, and religious meaning.
The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate originality, conceptual clarity, methodological rigor, and substantial engagement with international scholarship. Submissions should make a clear contribution to theological and hermeneutical debates across scriptural traditions.
Theologia does not consider purely descriptive papers, narrowly local studies without broader scholarly significance, or manuscripts whose primary orientation is sociological, educational, legal, or cultural without a direct connection to theology and scriptural interpretation.
