WiShEL: Walisongo Sharia Economic Law (e-ISSN: [to be assigned], p-ISSN: [to be assigned]) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published biannually by the Department of Sharia Economic Law, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly forum for the exploration of Islamic economic law and its contemporary legal, regulatory, philosophical, and ethical dimensions, both within Indonesia and in the global context.

WiShEL: Walisongo Jourmal of Sharia Economic Law (e-ISSN: [to be assigned], p-ISSN: [to be assigned]) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published biannually by the Department of Sharia Economic Law, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly forum for the exploration of Islamic economic law and its contemporary legal, regulatory, philosophical, and ethical dimensions, both within Indonesia and in the global context.

The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, case analyses, and critical reviews related to Islamic commercial law, Sharia-based financial regulations, Islamic legal theory, economic justice, and the intersection between Islamic law and modern financial systems. WiShEL adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating perspectives from Islamic jurisprudence, economic law, and socio-legal studies.

All submissions to WiShEL are written in English and subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. The journal is published twice a year (June and December) and maintains an open-access policy to promote wider dissemination of scholarly work.

WiShEL is currently in the process of registering for national and international indexing, including DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), SINTA accreditation by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia, and Scopus indexing as a long-term goal within the next three years.
