The election is an important part of democracy, besides the existence of political parties, and boards of election. A bibliometric analysis of ‘election’ was conducted to observe the mapping of this topic in the 2018 to 2024 period. The review collected articles from Scopus.com on certain Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. There are 100 articles from 68 sources, with 248 authors. The review revealed that Indonesia is the most productive country in this topic (98), the most collaborative (10), and also has the most citations (68), but an average number of citations per article is placed by Canada (24). This review also presents some suggestions for advanced research on this topic that were obtained from the co-occurrence keyword used by the authors.
