About the Journal

Al-Ahkam is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo in collaboration with the Indonesian Consortium of Sharia Scholars (KSSI). Al-Ahkam was first published in 1991 in printed version and available online since 2012.

Al-Ahkam focuses on Islamic Law, and Islamic Legal Studies, that studied from various perspectives i.e. philosophy, history, sociology, anthropology, psychology, and economics. This Journal provides readers with a better understanding of that focuses covering both literary and fieldwork studies through the publication of original research articles.

Al-Ahkam Author Fees Update

2024-01-15

Starting from Volume 34 No 1 (2024), Al-Ahkam now incurs an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 5,000,000.00 (for domestic authors) or USD 340.00 (for foreign authors).

APC must be paid after the submitted article is accepted for publication. Proofreaders' fees are included in the Article Processing Charge.
