Copyright Transfer Agreement

In order for Attaqaddum to publish and distribute research articles, editors need publishing rights (transferred from author to publisher). This agreement relates to the transfer/issuance of the copyright license to Attaqaddum, but the authors still retain significant rights to use and share the articles they publish.

Attaqaddum supports the need for authors to share, disseminate and maximize the impact of their research and these rights, in any database. As a journal article writer, you are entitled to various uses of your articles, including use by the institution or company you work for. Copyright can be used without special permission. Authors who publish articles in Attaqaddum have broad rights to use their work for teaching and scientific purposes without asking permission, including:

1. use authors for lectures, presentations, or conferences and distribute copies to participants;
2. distribution to colleagues for research use;
3. used in the subsequent compilation of the author's work;
4. inclusion in a thesis or dissertation;
5. reuse of sections or excerpts from articles in other works (with full acknowledgment of the final article);
6. preparation of derivative works (other than commercial purposes) (with full acknowledgment of the final article);
7. voluntary posting on open websites operated by authors or authors' institutions for scientific purposes

The author submits the manuscript with the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright for publishing (publishing rights) of the article will be transferred to Attaqaddum

Authors whose articles are declared accepted for publication will be confirmed via email to submit a Copyright Transfer Agreement.
