About the Journal

Focus and Scope

This journal welcomes and invites contributors from Indonesia and other countries, especially from da'wah sciences. The sub-studies are as follows:
1. Da'wah Management
2. Communication (old and new media, broadcasting, journalism, political communication, virtual/online religion, or all aspects of the development of Islamic communication science)
3. Guidance and Counselling (psychological intervention, guidance, mental health, and coping behaviors, or all aspects of counseling)
4. Community Development (Regional, rural, and urban development, Sustainable development and community empowerment, Tourism studies in community development, Social work practice, Philanthropy studies in community development, or all aspects of community development)

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah (JID) is a journal that implements the peer review process. All articles submitted to this journal will be reviewed in a closed (double blind review) by at least two reviewers. The response from the reviewer will be the consideration for the editor (editorial board) to determine whether an article can be published (accepted), published if revised or discarded (rejected). The authors must upgrade the returned articles. After the authors make improvements in accordance with feedback from reviewer, the author should resend (re-submit) and will be reviewed again. All articles submitted to Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah (JID) will be checked with anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin) to avoid plagiarism.

This journal is published twice a year, in June and December

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.
