Burnout is a phenomenon that arose from a great expectation to do the best for other people. But when the relationship is "asymmetry" between preachers and congregation, it could be lead to burnout that debilitates the spirit in preaching. However, only some preachers suffered from burnout due to the differences in individual characteristics, work environment, and emotional involvement with the congregation. Burnout is triggered by external factors and might be accumulative. This condition could be healed but it requires a long time. When this condition ignored, it can interfere with the performance and pressthemselves, their relatives and congregation. The person who responsible for creating the solution is him/herself, thatis supported by family or friends.
