Komitmen Kebangsaan Generasi Z di Tengah Arus Media Sosial dan Budaya Global

Di era globalisasi dan transformasi digital, Generasi Z menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam mempertahankan komitmen kebangsaan di tengah derasnya arus media sosial dan pengaruh budaya global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika identitas kebangsaan, semangat patriotisme, dan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan Generasi Z, serta bagaimana paparan media sosial dan tren budaya global memengaruhi rasa kebangsaan mereka. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) dengan survei terhadap 300 mahasiswa dan pelajar sekolah menengah, serta wawancara mendalam dan etnografi digital pada platform media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Generasi Z memiliki tingkat adaptabilitas tinggi dan keterbukaan terhadap nilai-nilai global, terjadi penurunan komitmen kebangsaan yang tercermin pada melemahnya identitas budaya dan tanggung jawab sosial. Namun, literasi digital, kesadaran kritis bermedia, serta pendidikan berbasis nilai berperan penting dalam memperkuat kesadaran kebangsaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lembaga pendidikan dan pembuat kebijakan perlu memperkuat pendidikan kewargaan digital serta mempromosikan nasionalisme inklusif melalui kampanye media sosial, konten kreatif, dan dialog lintas budaya untuk menjaga integritas bangsa di era global.
