Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
  • The submission file is in .doc or .docx.
  • The article outlined in available template that have been provided.
  • The references are based on APA style, outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • I am willing to have my article rejected if the manuscript I send indicates plagiarism, manipulation, and data falsification.

Author Guidelines

General Instructions

  1. Read publication ethics first.
  2. Download manuscript template here. Manuscript must be written based on it.
  3. Please register or login if you already have an account.
  4. Submit your manuscript by clicking [Make Submission] menu on the top right of the page and follow step 1 to 5.
  5. You will get a notification that your manuscript submitted successfully.
  6. Upload “Copyright Transfer Agreement” to [email protected] (download the CTA form here)
  7. You will get the notification that your article is (1) accepted, (2) accepted with revision, (3) submitted for review, or (4) rejected. It will take about a month.
  8. The accepted with revision manuscript should be returned not later than 3 weeks.
  9. You will get letter of acceptance publication right after we decide that your article is ready to be published.
  10. Author fees for article submission and publication is free.
  11. For writers who want a printed version, they will be charged printing costs and postage that will be confirmed later.

Particular Instructions

  1. Article typed in Times New Roman with the size of 12pt, and centre aligned. The length of the article ranged from 4000-8000 words.
  2. The article is written in Indonesian using grammatical rules.
  3. Because of the "Blind Review" system, the author hoped not to include the name, the name and address of the institution and email address in the cover of the article. The author's name, the name of the institution, as well as the email address listed at the time of registration on the OJS author. To facilitate communication should include an active mobile number.
  4. Title: written with the Times New Roman, maximum of 20 words, and printed in bold, in the middle with a size of 14pt.
  5. Abstract: written in two languages versions, Indonesians and English with the standard language. Abstract written with Times New Roman, 10pt with a maximum length of 250 words. Single line spacing. Indonesian and English abstract do not exceed one page. Abstract consists of only 1 paragraph, which contains objectives, research gaps, research methods, and research results specifically, clearly, and briefly.
  6. Keywords: written in comma-separated. Choose no more than 5 words that are important, specific, and representative in describing article content in general.
  7. Each section of the article is separated by numbered titles and is written in ALLCAPS, Times New Roman with the size of 12pt, and centre aligned.
  8. Introduction: contains the background of the problems, objectives and benefits of the research, and theoretical reviews. In this section the research problem is reviewed and presented and ended with the purpose of research.
  9. An introduction is started on the new page after the abstract sheet. The font used throughout the paper is Times New Roman with a size of 12pt and 1.15 line spacing. Every new paragraph begins with an indent 1 cm from the left margin. Avoid syllable truncation at the end of the grouping line. (Syllable truncation and page layout will be done by the copy-editor prior to publication if absolutely necessary.)
  10.  All theories, data, research results, or problems should be sourced from references with a proportion of the last 10 years and refer to primary references except under certain conditions.
  11. Research problem and objective are written narratively in paragraphs and do not allowed to be given special subtitles. If there is an operational definition, if necessary, it is also written narratively.
  12. Method: the type of research, the time and place of research, the target, the subject of the research, procedures, instruments, and techniques of data analysis and other things related to the way of research. Each section can contain subsections, with multilevel numbering by section number, for example: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. If the article contains subsections, the title is not numbered, but instead is written bold italic and aligns the left margin.
  13. Result and Discussion: contains data, results of assumption test, and results of hypothetical tests that are presented sequentially or integrated and analyse critically. Also, contains an explanation of the main points and research results in relations with the results of previous studies that are critically analysed and linked to relevant current literature.
  14. Authors are expected to check spelling and writing errors, please follow the EYD for Indonesian sentences, and follow the correct English grammar for abstract writing in English.
  15. The table is written in the middle or at the end of each text description of the results with a font size of 10pt. Each table must be given a table title (Table Caption) and written in centre aligned and capital letters for each beginning of a word, except for conjunctions and prepositions. In the case that the title consists of more than one line it is written in a single space. Allowed lines are vertical lines that separate the table headings (the first row of the table) with the table. In certain cases, the addition of some vertical lines may be added to minimize ambiguity.
  16. The result is picture, or the data created by the picture or scheme or graph or chart is presented according to the rules. Each picture must be given a caption (Figure Caption) below the picture with a size of 10pt. In the case of small picture, they can be arranged horizontally from the left with the appropriate numbering. When the picture caption is more than 1 line, the title is written in a single line space.
  17.  Table and image numbering refer to the order in which tables/images appear starting from 1, 2, 3, etc.
  18. All equations/formulas must be displayed in rows separate from text and embedded in a table without borders. The formula must be clear and outlined in the text section. Formulas can be numbered to the right of each equation to make it easier to describe.
  19. Conclusion: contains conclusions also suggestions (if necessary). Conclusions show or describe answers to research problems or objectives, and as a summary of research results. Conclusions are made short, clear, qualitative and general, and written in paragraphs. Meanwhile, the suggestion contains recommendations to other researchers or various subject related to the results of the study, about things that need to be done in the next study, weaknesses or shortcomings of research that has been done and that needs to be completed or refined at a next study of the research.
  20. Bibliography: based on APA (click for what standard bibliography writing guide) and should be done by default and consistently. For consistency purposes, citations and bibliographical style must be set automatically using Reference Manager, i.e Zotero, Mendeley or other applications. It must be written at single line space, and bibliography is spaced 1 space.
  21. The references mostly (>80%) are scientific journals related with the topic study and in the last 10 years.
