ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI TRIGONOMETRI BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR

Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Analisis pemahaman konsep dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kriteria dari Peraturan Dirjen Dikdasmen Depdiknas dengan Nomor 576/C/TU/2006. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X TMPO-2 SMK Negeri 3 Semarang yang berjumlah 36 anak. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan gaya belajar tidak secara signifikan mempengaruhi kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi bahwa gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik dalam hal keterampilan memahami konsep hanya terdapat sedikit perbedaan dalam prosesnya. Hal ini dikarenakan subjek visual dan kinestetik sama-sama mampu menguasai 6 dari 7 indikator pemahaman konsep, sedangkan untuk subjek auditori mampu memahami keseluruhan indikator pemahaman konsep dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa subjek auditori memiliki kemampuan yang lebih tinggi di banding dengan subjek visual dan kinestetik.
