Ownership and Management

Al-Hilal: Journal of Islamic Astronomy is owned and managed by the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo Semarang, Indonesia, through its Department of Islamic Astronomy, in collaboration with the Asosiasi Dosen Falak Indonesia (ADFI) and the Southeast Asian Association of Islamic Astronomers (SAAIA).

The Faculty provides institutional support and oversees the journal's administrative management and operational development. The journal is managed by an editorial team responsible for manuscript processing, peer review, and publication in accordance with established editorial policies and publication ethics.

Editorial decisions are made independently by the editorial team based on the manuscript's originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, and compliance with ethical standards. Institutional ownership and collaborative partnerships do not interfere with the objectivity of peer review or the independence of editorial decisions.
