Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah is a journal that discusses discourse of da'wah science, published by the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication Walisongo State Islamic University, Semarang, Indonesia.

JID is focusing on issues of da’wah problems in Indonesia. JID intended to communicate the results of theoretical study and the results of research on da’wah. The themes in the journal include the study of texts,  field studies with various perspectives both from the standpoint of communication and broadcasting Islam, Islam counseling, da’wah management and development of Islam community.

JID published twice a year, putting the da’wah of Islam and matters relating to da’wah. The main focus is to distribute the curiosity of academic, invite experts to look da’wah comprehensively  from the perspective of communication and broadcasting of Islam, counseling Islam, da’wa management and the development of Islam community. Seeing the Islamic da’wah activities as has been practiced in reality life. JID positioning itself as a forum for reviewing the da’wah activities and things which associated with da’wah in Indonesia.

JID is a peer-reviewed journal. It is available online as open access sources as well as in print. This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the editor-in-chief, the Editorial Board, the reviewer, and the publisher.
