Some zakat analyses revealed that zakat farm management plays a significant influence in reducing poverty. The management of zakat in several Southeast Asian nations in harmony with government policy proposes collecting charity monies delivered to the mustahiq through charitable activities that are both productive and consumptive. This study aims to look at poverty alleviation at zakat institutions in Indonesia and Brunei in the management of agricultural zakat. the method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The Result Indonesia has a large population with the problem of poverty being the target for resolution in economic development. However, optimizing the potential for high agricultural zakat in Indonesian society and the existence of cooperation among stakeholders as well as support for government regulations is a solution in reducing poverty. This is certainly different from Malaysia with a smaller population level than Indonesia and high government revenue, so that the implementation of agricultural zakat management can solve the problem of poverty in this country.
