Focus and Scope

Journal of Integrated Elementary Education (JIEEd) welcomes interdisciplinary research that advances scholarly understanding of elementary education through integrated perspectives. The journal focuses on how learning processes, pedagogical practices, institutional contexts, and sociocultural factors interact to shape the holistic development of elementary school students.

JIEEd particularly encourages studies examining the intersections of knowledge, character, values, spirituality, social-emotional competencies, and elementary education . The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, and methodological contributions addressing religious education, values education, moral and character formation, cultural diversity, transformative learning, teaching and learning innovation, teacher development, inclusive education, educational technology, assessment, and educational policy related to elementary schooling.

Through an integrated approach, JIEEd aims to contribute to global scholarship on holistic elementary education by exploring how academic learning, character development, ethical values, spirituality, and social responsibility shape meaningful educational experiences for children in diverse elementary school contexts.
