Daluang in Bibliometric Analysis: An Approach to Citation Analysis and Visualization
Main Article Content
Abstract
Purpose. This study aims to examine the development of research using the keyword daluang by identifying: (a) article distribution, (b) citation analysis, and (c) research data visualization.
Methodology. A bibliometric approach was employed a total of 118 articles were collected from Scopus, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Lens databases. Citation analysis was conducted using Publish or Perish, while VOSviewer was utilized to visualize authorship networks and keyword trends.
Results and discussion. The findings indicate that articles using the keyword daluang were published between 2007 and 2024. Authorship patterns show an equal distribution between single-authored and collaborative articles, with 59 articles each. Most articles consist of 6–10 pages (43 articles). The most productive author is Yeni Budi Rachman, who published 5 articles with a total of 43 citations. The most productive publisher is UIN Walisongo Semarang through Daluang: Journal of Library and Information Science, which published 42 articles. The most influential article, based on citation counts, is the collaborative work by Aan Hasanah, Neng Gustini, and Dede Rohaniawati titled Cultivating Character Education Based on Sundanese Culture Local Wisdom, cited 70 times.
Conclusions. The bibliometric analysis of daluang-related publications from 2007 to 2024 reveals publication trends, authorship collaboration patterns, citation characteristics, and visual mapping of keywords and author networks. These findings provide valuable insights to support future research directions and foster scholarly collaboration in library and information science.
