Author Fees

To support the editorial process, peer review, and production, Economica: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam implements the following fee structure effective from Volume 17, Number 2 (2026).

Publication Fee

Authors are invoiced upon formal acceptance of their manuscript.

• Indonesian-affiliated authors: IDR 3,000,000
• International authors: USD 150

Proofreading Requirement

Professional proofreading is mandatory prior to final acceptance. Authors may fulfill this requirement through Economica's journal-arranged proofreading service, provided internally or through a partner. Fees are based on manuscript length and complexity and are payable before final typesetting.

Fee Waiver

Authors experiencing genuine financial hardship may apply in writing for a partial or full waiver. Each case is evaluated individually.
