Conflict of Interest

Sawwa: Jurnal Studi Gender requires authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose financial or non-financial interests that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, their work. These may include funding, employment, personal relationships, institutional affiliations, or professional rivalries. A competing interest does not necessarily indicate misconduct, but it must be disclosed.

Authors must include a conflict of interest statement in their manuscript and disclose research funding and the funder’s role. Disclosures must be updated if circumstances change. If no competing interests exist, authors should state: “The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”

Reviewers and editors must promptly disclose any relevant interests and withdraw from assignments where such interests compromise impartiality. Submissions by journal editors or editorial board members will be handled independently.

The journal will assess disclosed interests and take appropriate action to preserve editorial independence. Undisclosed conflicts identified after publication may result in a correction or other editorial action, depending on their impact on the integrity of the article.
