Journal History
1. Nutri-Sains: Jurnal Gizi, Pangan dan Aplikasinya was first established in July 2016, with ISSN Number 2528-3170 (printed media) based on Decree no. 0005.25283170/JI.3/SK.ISSN/2016.07 - July 29th 2016, and ISSN Number: 2541-5921 (online media) based on Decree no. 0005.25415921/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2016.11 - November 7th, 2016. 2. The journal is published biannualy. The first issue, in both print and online editions, was published in July 2016, with Angga Hardiansyah, S.Gz., M.Si. as the editor-in-chief.
3. All articles were published in Bahasa Indonesia, with abstracts provided in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
4. Each edition features 6 scientific articles.
5. In 2018, Nutri-Sains: Jurnal Gizi, Pangan dan Aplikasinya became a CrossRef member receiving a unique DOI number.
6. In 2019 Nutri-Sains: Jurnal Gizi, Pangan dan Aplikasinya was accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia, Decree No. 14/E/KPT/2019.
7. In 2024 the journal was reaccredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia, under Decree No. 1439/E5/DT.05.00/2024.
8. Nutri-Sains: Jurnal Gizi, Pangan dan Aplikasinya is currently indexed in multiple journal databases including CROSSREF, Google Scholar, Moraref, Sinta Ristek Dikti, One Search Indonesia, BASE, GARUDA, and others.
9. In early 2025, a leadership change occurred in the editorial board, with Puji Lestari, S. KM., M.PH. appointed as the new editor-in-chief. Along with this transition, the OJS system was upgraded from OJS 2 to OJS 3.
10. In its effort to enhance the quality, Nutri-Sains has established cooperation and partnerships with international reviewers worldwide.
11. Nutri-Sains is anticipated to become one of the most reputable national journals in the field of nutrition, achieving the highest Sinta ranking, with future indexing in prestigious databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.
