Types of Manuscript

Psikohumaniora: Jurnal Penelitian Psikologi publishes scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of psychological knowledge, particularly in the fields of clinical psychology and positive psychology. The journal primarily welcomes original empirical research employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts must demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological appropriateness, and clear contributions to psychological theory, research, or practice.

The journal considers the following types of manuscripts:

1. Quantitative Research Articles

Original empirical studies employing quantitative methods to examine psychological phenomena, test hypotheses, develop or validate measurement instruments, and investigate relationships, differences, or effects among psychological variables. Studies may employ experimental, quasi-experimental, correlational, survey, psychometric, or other appropriate quantitative designs.

2. Qualitative Research Articles

Original empirical studies exploring psychological experiences, meanings, perceptions, behaviors, and social processes through qualitative approaches. Eligible methodologies may include phenomenology, grounded theory, case studies, ethnography, narrative inquiry, and other rigorous qualitative research designs.

3. Mixed-Methods Research Articles

Original empirical studies integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches within a coherent research design. Manuscripts should explain the rationale for combining methods, demonstrate the integration of findings, and articulate the added value of the mixed-methods approach in understanding psychological phenomena.

4. Interdisciplinary, Multidisciplinary, and Transdisciplinary Research Articles

Empirical studies integrating psychological perspectives with other disciplines to address complex issues relevant to clinical psychology, positive psychology, and related areas. Such manuscripts should establish a clear psychological contribution and demonstrate the relevance of the interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or transdisciplinary approach.
