Types of Manuscripts
Jawda: The Journal of Islamic Education Management publishes research-based manuscripts that advance theories, concepts, and practices in Islamic education management. The journal primarily accepts original empirical research articles that use quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts must demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological suitability, and a clear contribution to the development of Islamic education management science and practice.
The scope of the journal includes curriculum management, learning processes, student affairs, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, education financing, leadership, integrated quality management, public relations, educational organizations, and Islamic education policy analysis.
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
1. Quantitative Research Articles
An original empirical study that uses a quantitative approach to test hypotheses, analyze relationships or influences between variables, identify differences, and test models or instruments relevant to Islamic education management. Studies may include educational leadership, human resource performance and development, financing effectiveness, quality of educational services, curriculum management, management information systems, and the quality of Islamic educational institutions. Acceptable research designs include surveys, correlational, comparative, experimental, quasi-experimental, and other appropriate quantitative designs.
2. Qualitative Research Articles
An original empirical study that explores the process, experience, meaning, practice, and dynamics of the management of Islamic educational institutions. Studies can focus on decision-making, leadership, organizational culture, institutional governance, collaborative management, human resource development, financial management, policy implementation, and the internalization of Islamic values in educational management practices. Acceptable methodologies include case studies, multi-site studies, phenomenology, ethnography, grounded theory, narrative research, and other qualitative designs that are carried out systematically and are scientifically accountable.
3. Mixed Methods Research Articles
An original empirical study that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches in a coherent research design to examine the problem of Islamic education management. The manuscript should explain the reasons for using mixed methods, the research design and stages, how quantitative and qualitative data are integrated, and how the integration of findings contributes to understanding of the problem being studied. The study may include evaluating educational programs, assessing governance effectiveness, developing management models, improving service quality, and evaluating the implementation of Islamic education policies.
4. Interdisciplinary, Multidisciplinary, and Transdisciplinary Research Articles
An original empirical study that integrates the perspective of Islamic education management with other disciplines to analyze complex educational problems. Studies can involve management science, public administration, sociology, educational economics, information technology, organizational psychology, Islamic studies, and other relevant fields. The manuscript must demonstrate a strong connection to Islamic education management, explain the contribution of each perspective, and yield meaningful insights or findings to inform the development of theories and management practices in Islamic educational institutions.
