Publication Frequency

Alsina : Journal of Arabic Studies publishes two issues per year (February and August).

Volume and issue numbering

One volume covers one calendar year. Volume 8 (2026), for example, consists of Number 1 (February 2026) and Number 2 (August 2026).

Submission and editorial schedule

Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year; there is no submission deadline. Each manuscript passes double-blind peer review and production before it is assigned to the next available issue. Authors are therefore encouraged to submit well ahead of the issue they are targeting.

Publication model

Each issue is released as a complete issue on this website. Articles are open access immediately upon publication and are assigned a DOI with the prefix 10.21580.
