Journal History

Vision: Journal of Language and Foreign Language Learning was first published in April, 2012, which was paper-based publishing. The Editor in Chief was Daviq Rizal. However, in 2013-2016 the editor in chief was Muhammad Nafi Annury. In 2014, Vision Journal was published in printed and online versions. Since 2017, Vision Journal has been published on online versions and the editor in chief is Daviq Rizal.

On 30 August 2017, Vision Journal was submitted to an Arjuna National Accreditation and was ranked in Sinta 4. Since 11 April 2019, Vision Journal has been ranked in Sinta 3.

Vision Journal has been suggested for DOAJ. However, the journal registration for DOAJ has been declined due to the difference between the copyright policy in the footer of the frontpage conflicting the one on the abstract page. The journal will be suggested in the near future as the conflicting information has been examined and corrected. 

The name of the journal on the Printed ISSN (Journal Vision), which conflicted the one in the Online ISSN (Vision: Journal for Language and Foreign Language Learning), has been confirmed with the administrator of Tim Pusat Nasional ISSN Indonesia, Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi Ilmiah - LIPI on an email correspondence that the journal has to register for a new printed ISSN for the next issue. We did the registration of a new printed ISSN on May 30th, 2020 at http://issn.pdii.lipi.go.id and the ID number of the registration is1593490127. Regarding the logo and header of the website, the logo and header has been changed into a new one since Volume 9, Number 1 (2020). 

Moreover, on 13 February 2019, Vision Journal was suggested to be included in Scopus. The tracking nr. for this title suggestion is FDD4A8359958BC03. Besides, Vision Journal was submitted to the Web of Science for a review on July, 7th, 2020. Moreover, to improve the quality of the journal, since 25 July 2020, this journal officially had made cooperation with ELITE Association Indonesia (The Association of Teachers of English Linguistics, Literature & Education).
