The old printed ISSN of the journal was 2252-8385 for Volume 1, Number 1 (2012) to Volume 9, Number 1 (2020), and the new printed ISSN is 2745-9667 for Volume 9, Number 2 (2020) to the present. Regarding the logo and header of the website, the logo and header have been changed into a new one since Volume 9, Number 1 (2020). Besides, the first article template was changed into the second one from Volume 9, Number 2 (2020) until Volume 10, Number 2 (2021). Now we use the new article template since Volume 11, Number 1 (2022).
Moreover, on 13 February 2019, Vision Journal was suggested to be included in Scopus. The tracking nr. for this title suggestion is FDD4A8359958BC03. However, on 10 October 2021, the CSAB did not accept the Scopus inclusion title for the following reasons.
- Despite being published for quite some time, articles in this title have attracted few citations by other titles currently covered by Scopus,
- There are a few good, informative articles, but also many articles that make little contribution to the field,
- Many good international journals already cover this subject area, and
- Journal title implies that it is international, but this is not supported by the stated aims and scope.
Moreover, to improve the quality of the journal, since 25 July 2020, this journal officially had made cooperation with ELITE Association Indonesia (The Association of Teachers of English Linguistics, Literature & Education). See The MoU Manuscript.
