Copyright Ownership
- Copyright remains with the author(s); full copyright transfer to the journal is not required.
- Authors grant JIEEd the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, identify, and preserve the article as the original scholarly publication.
- Authors may share and reuse their published work in accordance with the applicable article license and third-party rights.
Author Rights and Responsibilities
Attribution
Authors must receive proper credit for the published work. Reuse must provide bibliographic and licensing information.
Self-Archiving
Authors may deposit the published Version of Record in appropriate repositories without a journal-imposed embargo, with a citation and DOI link.
Third-Party Material
Authors must secure and document permissions for material not owned by them. Participant privacy and consent restrictions remain applicable.
