Journal of Integrated Elementary Education (JIEEd) maintains the accuracy and integrity of its published record through transparent, evidence-based post-publication editorial action.

Available Editorial Actions

Correction or Erratum
For a substantive but limited error that does not invalidate the article’s central results or conclusions.
Addendum
For necessary additional information that clarifies or completes the scholarly record.
Expression of Concern
For significant, unresolved concerns requiring notice while the investigation continues.
Retraction
For findings that are unreliable or seriously compromised, including substantial error, fabrication, plagiarism, or unethical publication.

Assessment Procedure

  • Editors receive and document a report, identify the article and alleged issue, and assess the available evidence.
  • Authors are normally offered an opportunity to provide clarification or correction; independent expert or institutional input may be sought.
  • Editorial notices describe the reason and scope of the action and are linked to the affected publication.
  • Retractions preserve a clear record rather than silently deleting published articles. Removal is reserved for exceptional legal, privacy, or safety circumstances.

Bibliographic Integrity

JIEEd aims to keep article DOI records, publication metadata, links, and related notices accurate, traceable, and consistent with established guidance on corrections and retractions. The purpose is to protect readers and the scientific record, not to assign punishment without evidence.
