The Journal of Integrated Elementary Education (JIEEd) provides an official manuscript template to ensure consistent formatting and clear scholarly presentation. All authors must prepare and submit their manuscripts using this template and follow the Author Guidelines .

1. Accepted Article Types

JIEEd accepts two manuscript categories:

Article Type Description
Original Research Article Original empirical studies using appropriate quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, or other rigorous research designs.
Review Article Critical and transparent evidence syntheses, including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and meta-analyses where appropriate.

3. Manuscript Structure
Original Research Article

Title and author information; Abstract and Keywords; Introduction; Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; Required Declarations; References.

Review Article

Title and author information; Abstract and Keywords; Introduction; Review Methods; Results or Evidence Synthesis; Discussion; Conclusion; Required Declarations; References.

Review Articles should follow suitable reporting guidance, such as PRISMA 2020 or PRISMA-ScR, where applicable.

4. Preparing Your Manuscript

After downloading the official template, replace all example or instructional text with your own content. Keep section headings, tables, figures, equations, and references consistent with the prescribed format.

Use appropriate research reporting standards and verify the accuracy of all references and DOI links. Authors are encouraged to use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote for APA 7th Edition citations.

5. Before Submission

Confirm that the manuscript:

  • Uses the latest official JIEEd template and matches the selected article category.
  • Meets the language, length, abstract, keyword, and reference requirements.
  • Presents transparent methods and evidence-supported findings or synthesis.
  • Includes accurate author metadata, affiliations, and the corresponding author's email.
  • Includes relevant ethics, funding, competing-interest, data-availability, and AI-use disclosures.
  • Complies with the journal's originality and publication-ethics requirements.
6. Online Submission

Submit the completed Word manuscript through the official JIEEd submission system. Authors should ensure that the metadata entered in OJS match the information in the manuscript.

Manuscripts that do not follow essential template and submission requirements may be returned for technical revision before editorial consideration.
